The guaranteed destruction process.... |
| Step two of five. | ||||
After the waste data has been loaded onto the shredding facility conveyor it passes through an inspection area where it's visually checked for metallic objects and debris that would cause potential damage to the shredding equipment. This stage is also used to separate the waste material into its various component parts. For example paper waste will be sent on to a specialist paper shredder whilst items like digital storage disks or tapes will be sent on to a shredding machine that deals with the destruction of that particular medium. Our operatives have, on many occasions, found a bizarre assortment of items amongst the waste data!! Once the waste material is thoroughly checked and sorted it moves on to its eventual guaranteed destruction. |
