In accordance with "The Data Protection Act" we are required to issue you with a certificate of destruction on every occasion that Securebins collects your waste confidential data and computer storage medium [tapes and discs] from your business premises. Our unique sequentially serial numbered certificates confirm that confidential paper documentation or computer storage medium have been securely removed from a business premises and will be properly disposed of by Securebins in an appropriate and permanent manner. These certificates are very important and must be held in a safe place [by you] for possible future reference. You may be approached at any time by the Agencies responsible for the enforcement of "The Data Protection Act" and asked to show proof of correct data handling and its eventual effective disposal. Securebins always retains a copy of the  issued certificates of destruction for our own files.
